Host Toy Workshop Delivery

Three inventors left different labels at the workshop desk. Reconstruct who made each part, check the dispatch log and select the parcel that matches all five checks. Collect five named badge digits and use the final sheet. Every clue is on the table; ask the host for one hint at a time.

Before you start

Clue check & hints

1. Maker

Hint 1

No item can belong to two people. Cross out each forbidden pairing.

Hint 2

Ben cannot have two items, so Ben must have Spring.

Hint 3

Cross Spring off for the other two people. Apply the last NOT rule, then find Ben's item.

Reveal host answer

1

Ada has Lever; Ben has Spring; Cy has Wheel. Ben's item gives 1.

2. Stock

Hint 1

The missing amount is a return into stock. The cancelled delivery never happened.

Hint 2

Start with 10. Apply +5 then -2. Ignore the cancelled +7.

Hint 3

The known entries leave 13. How much must return to reach the closing stock of 15?

Reveal host answer

2

Known stock: 10 + 5 - 2 = 13. Closing stock 15 minus 13 gives the missing return 2. Cancelled +7 never arrived.

3. Labels

Hint 1

Compare position 1 with position 1, not with a nearby matching shape.

Hint 2

Position 1 is one difference: hexagon in A, square in B. Mark it once.

Hint 3

Compare the remaining numbered pairs one by one. Add one mark for each unequal pair, then count all your marks.

Reveal host answer

5

Different positions are 1, 3, 4, 6, 8. There are 5 differences.

4. Weight

Hint 1

Loose units are not parcels. Every parcel has equal weight.

Hint 2

Remove 4 loose units from 28. That leaves 24 for the equal parcels.

Hint 3

Share 24 equally among 3 parcels. Substitute one parcel's weight into the second rule.

Reveal host answer

8

Remove 4 from 28; share 24 among 3 parcels to get 8. Check 2 x 8 + 3 = 19.

5. Dispatch

Hint 1

The printed cards are deliberately out of order.

Hint 2

Test parts must come first. Work out which action comes directly after it.

Hint 3

The first two actions are Test parts, then Fit gears. Finish the chain and read position 3.

Reveal host answer

6

The only order is Test parts > Fit gears > Seal parcel > Send parcel. Position 3 carries 6.

6. Final

Hint 1

Keep all five named badge results beside this sheet.

Hint 2

Use C1=Maker, C2=Stock, C3=Labels, C4=Weight, C5=Dispatch.

Hint 3

Each wrong record differs in just one column. Cross out all five wrong records, then copy the complete remaining code.

Reveal host answer

0717

Only Record B matches all five columns. Copy its printed code 0717.

Suggested timeline

Pause whenever the group needs a break. This is a planning estimate.
