Run a Game for Two Kids
Two children can share one complete pack. Alternating jobs gives each child a useful turn without turning the party into a race.
Print and share these role cards
Use the role words on the badge record in the prop PDF. Keep the full sheets rather than cutting the cards out.
- TURN A: child 1 is Reader; child 2 is Recorder and Path finder
- TURN B: child 2 is Reader; child 1 is Recorder and Path finder
- SWAP: change jobs after each completed clue
- TOGETHER: decide on the final code and thank your partner
A Robot Talent Show example
On Act, one child reads the four NOT rules while the other crosses out forbidden performer–act pairings. Swap jobs on Power: one reads DONE and CANCELLED entries while the other works out the missing battery return. Both check the final program order together.
Make room for different reading levels
The adult may read the instructions aloud without telling the solution. Let the child who is more confident with reading help the other explain an idea. If one child finishes early, ask them to check the badge names and the final order rather than answer every remaining clue.
